What 'local processing' means
When you drag a message file into iExport, JavaScript in your browser reads the file from disk, parses it, and builds the PDF or HTML export directly in memory. No request containing message content leaves your machine.
What we actually receive
- Anonymous traffic telemetry (page views, error types).
- Anonymous payment metadata from the payment provider when you buy.
- No message text, no phone numbers, no contact names, no attachments.
Limitations to be aware of
Local processing means your device needs enough memory for large conversations. On older phones or low-RAM computers, very large exports may be slower. Split into date ranges if needed.
